Biaurelian® Carbon Partners works on four lines of special technological additives that allow obtaining Certified Emission Reduction (CER) in accordance with the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) within the Kyoto Protocol, through certified reduction of emissions on farms through (1) treatment of manure and slurry ponds, (2) enteric fermentation, (3) reduction of emissions through biogas and (4) reduction of methane through composting.

The reduction values ​​obtained from greenhouse gases (GHG) in manure are 80%, in enteric fermentation the values range from 10% to 30%, while in Biogas production increases up to 40%, with a reduction GHG of 70% and in composting up to 75%.

However, with the current level of CO2 emissions (2023), we have only 275 gigatonnes of CO2 left by 2030 'to spend', to 'emit', before we reach the limit temperature of 1.5ºC with a 50% probability.

In this way, the carbon budget would be like a current money account, we would have seven years left to remain in the red.

With the current level of CO2 emissions, it is necessary to have alternatives to achieve the objectives, which according to BIAURELIAN® CARBON PARTNERS vision, can be a niche for voluntary emissions reduction (VER).

Livestock farming worldwide generates 7.62 GtCO2-Eq annually (FAO, 2022), based on the previous graph, it could be a niche where action can be taken to achieve the necessary reductions to achieve the 2030 objectives.

The estimated mitigation potential is 33%, about 2.5 GtCO2-Eq, compared to the baseline scenario. This calculation is based on assuming that producers in a specific system, region and agroecological zone apply the same practices as the top 10% of emissions producers (market leaders), keeping production constant (Source www.fao.org 2022).

Biaurelian® Carbon Partners works under a project management model to obtain a Certified Emission Reduction (CER) that allows its interaction as a co-proponent and as a supplier of essential technological additives, under an efficient project management model, following accepted and trusted market methodologies.

Biaurelian® Carbon Partners is a program open to cooperation with the value chain of livestock corporations, integrators, producer groups and promoters, providing experience in GHG reduction in manure, slurry, enteric fermentation and associated decontamination, in addition to nitrates and methane, the reduction of heavy metals, antibiotics and other components negative for the environment, with proven efficiency and in accordance with recognized methodologies established in the management of livestock and manure.

In the management of livestock and manure, Biaurelian® Carbon Partners is aligned with the sustainable development goals (SDG), achieving the improvement of groundwater (6), improvement of work conditions by eliminating odors (8), for employees and cities (11), providing responsible production and consumption (12), constituting comprehensive action for the climate and GHG reduction, which affects waterways and seas (14) and terrestrial ecosystems in the application of livestock-sourced manures and biomass (15).
